Jay discovered by the age of seven, a love of all things aviation, and along with it, a love of the sciences. He has been a licensed commercial pilot for over 25 years, and during that time has worked as an instructor for the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, a project manager for the Advanced Concepts Division at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, and a science teacher in Palm Beach County. Jay has over 20 years of professional engineering experience. In recent years, after becoming a father, he re-discovered his love of teaching and was inspired to co-create the Scientastic Institute.
