After completing her degree in zoology from the University of Florida, Samara has worked extensively in both formal and informal education, from developing and implementing programs for zoological facilities to tutoring students in math and science to teaching in the public school system. She has received several awards for her efforts in environmental education. Her great love of science and learning is the inspiration behind the founding of the Scientastic Institute.
